Rock Academy Online – starts July 6
Work with other talented musicians from all over Australia and beyond to create original music and an accompanying music video, under the guidance of some of the best of Australia’s musical talent with support from professional studio engineers and filmmakers.
We delivered an amazing program and show in April and so we’re back online this July.
Check out the awesome songs and videos produced during the April program.
Starting Monday, July 6 all musicians (the Bakehouse crew will join us online as well) will join us online for a day of Zoom sessions incorporating a Songwriting Workshop, a Recording at Home Workshop and a Filmmaking workshop to get everyone prepped for the days ahead.
You’ll be placed in a band with other musicians to collaborate and create and over the following days they’ll be your co-writers and creators, reflecting often how the real world of songwriting occurs.
Over the three days of Rock Academy, you and your band will focus on writing, arranging, performing and recording an original song and creating a concept, filming, editing and delivering a music video for that song.
Your song and video will be included in the Premiere Broadcast show on Facebook and YouTube on Sunday, July 12.
It’s going to be a blast, don’t miss out, book now.
Mentors confirmed for Rock Academy XX are Phil Ceberano (Bakehouse), Justin Burford – End of Fashion (Online), Clio Renner – Rockwiz & Alex Lahey, Dean Tellefson – Wranglord (Recording Workshop), James Morris – Baked (Filmmaking Workshop) and others we’re in the process of confirming.
